Finding Your Perfect Pumpkin

For many families, seeing the pumpkin displays at our farm is the moment they know autumn has officially arrived in Ontario. We do not offer a pumpkin patch in the field. Instead, our team hand-selects the best pumpkins directly from our fields and brings them up to the market. This creates a beautiful, vibrant display and gives you the largest selection to choose from in one easy spot.

  • Pricing: The majority of our pumpkins are sold by weight. Our smaller and miniature pumpkins are sold at a set price.

  • Selection: Everyone loves to find their perfect pumpkin! Come enjoy the beauty of fall as you roam through thousands of pumpkins to pick exactly what you want.

Pumpkin Sizes, Colors, and Varieties

Whether you want a giant jack-o’-lantern for the front porch or a beautiful centerpiece for your table, we grow a wide selection of pumpkins.

Bisbee Gold Pie Pumpkins vs. Carving Pumpkins

If you want to make homemade pumpkin pie, soup, or puree, you need a baking pumpkin. We grow Bisbee Gold Pie Pumpkins, which are made specifically for eating. Here is why you should never use a carving pumpkin for baking:

FEATURE BISBEE GOLD PIE PUMPKINS VS. STANDARD CARVING PUMPKINS
Taste Profile Bisbee Gold: Naturally rich and very sweet

Carving Pumpkin: Bland and watery
Interior Texture Bisbee Gold: Very smooth, dense, and creamy

Carving Pumpkin: Rough and highly stringy
Best Farm Use Bisbee Gold: Baking pies, roasting, soups, and homemade puree

Carving Pumpkin: Jack-o’-lanterns, decorating, and fall displays

Tips for Making Your Pumpkin Last

If you treat them right, most uncarved pumpkins will easily last well into November! To keep your pumpkins fresh for as long as possible:

  • Store them in a cool, dry place.
  • Keep them away from freezing temperatures.
  • Make sure the outside stays dry whenever possible.

My husband and best friend and I came here to pick pumpkins and go to the bakery, and it was delightful! There was a HUGE selection of really wonderful pumpkins to choose from, with a great range of sizes. The prices are also super reasonable - my husband and I got 3 pumpkins, one of which was absolutely huge, and it was only $39. The baked goods are also divine - we got a selection of tarts and some of the mini pumpkin spice doughnuts, and also tried a caramel apple cider - all of which were incredible. I think Stroms is going to be out go-to for pumpkins going forward!!

My family went to Strom farm! We have a daughter who has cerebral palsy and we want to let the staff know EVERYTHING was accessible to her with ease today. Parking located at the front. They have a multi chair bike so she could enjoy the carts with our family and ride around their track. Her walker easily fit through their corn maze with ease. We had THE BEST TIME .. thank you so much for a wonderful day that built wonderful memories that we ALL could participate in . This is probably the BEST pumpkin patch we have been to with our family . We can’t thank you enough !! The Riley’s
